Relative to honoring Guam’s Greatest Generation, the survivors of the Japanese occupation of Guam during World War II, and to recognize their experiences and sacrifices through observing June 28, 2025 as “War Survivor Remembrance Day”, a vital part of the Eighty-First (81st) Year Anniversary of the Liberation of Guam.

Relative to recognizing the Judiciary of Guam, the U.S. District Court of Guam, and the Guam Bar Association for the service they provide to the island communities; and commending them for their advocacy of justice and equality as we join them in the celebration of “Law Month” from April 21, 2025 to May 21, 2025 and “Law Day” on May 1, 2025.

RELATIVE TO REQUESTING I MAGA’HÅGAN GUÅHAN TO ESTABLISH THE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS RESCUE PLAN (TARP) AND PROVIDING AT LEAST $60 MILLION FROM THE FUNDS RECEIVED THROUGH THE 2020 CARES ACT, THE 2021 AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN, OR OTHER FEDERALLY OR LOCALLY FUNDED PANDEMIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS TO ASSIST BUSINESS ENTITIES IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY WHO HAVE BEEN SEVERELY IMPACTED AND SUFFERED TREMENDOUSLY BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
